(Come on in learn a little about me as I journey you back in time where I first began)

My Life Story

(a true story)

( It all started when I was 6 years old almost 7)I use to go to church every Sunday sit on the first row so I could watch the drummer.I wished, hoped, and prayed that one day I could be a drummer. Until one day, it happened.On JUNE 17,1996(my b-day) I had been begging my mom for a drum set for a month or so until my b-day.At (1:04a.m.) I heard a horn honking outside my house it was my aunt from (Waco Tx).I ran out side to give her a hug and she gave me a hug and said happy b-day while pointing at the back of her jeep. It took me a while to make out the object but then I saw it. My beautiful red drum set I was so happy it only took us 5mins to set up and without looking at the clock (about 1:15a.m.) I began to play until at least 2:30a.m. Well the next Wednesday I took one drum lesson and that Sunday I played in church by myself and for the first time. I knew this was my life.

When I was 11 I joined the band.I remembered the things like I played drums for my church and the football games. I use to go to with my dad and watch the band at the football games, drums were my favorite insturnment so I was going to audition for drums.When I got the cut I was so happy. At the age of 12 I went to all region and got sixth best drummer in my area which is last chair I was so excited. I also played my first timpani solo (SCHERZO) .At age 13 I went back to all region and kicked butt for 1st best drummer in my region.I also played my first four mallet solo entitled (SEA REFRACTIONS) where I won two medals in each time I performed it. I also joined the stage band where I played (SOUL BOSSA NOVA){AKA}_AUSTIN POWERS THE SPY WHO SHAGGED ME_ (THEME SONG).I was also featured along with a few others to play their solo in front of a live audience.

Now I am 14 years old going to high school and and im going to stay a drummer all my life. If all goes well I will be a percussion teacher just like my favorite teacher Mr.Jordan (HE IS SO COOL).Well I am loving my life so far so I will just have to see how things work out.
